The Early Days

My mother moved to Portugal when I was 5. She met an Englishman there who began our adventurous life by taking us on camping trips throughout Europe and North Africa. My first camping trip took us to a place that had recently had a brush fire run through it. I ended up getting quite filthy and was christened with the nickname Scruff.

The Navy Days

In my Coast Guard uniform.

After a bit of college I decided to join the Navy and see the world. I ended up sailing to the Orient, Hawaii and Alaska. Six years later I joined the Coast Guard and continued my service for another 5 years. The adventures were many and true to form many hearts were broken along the way.

The Drilling years

After a Chopper ride with my co-workers.

After my time in the military I joined the off shore drilling industry and continued my travels with trips to Brazil, Turkey, Republic of Congo, Mozambique and India. The journey continues and I'm interested to know where I'll end up next...
