Favorite Thing: Do the Malls in Metro Atlanta. Atlanta metropolitan area has 4 large shopping Malls. The Mall of Georgia is the largest shopping Mall in the state of Georgia and the South East. The Mall is located on I-85 Exit 115. Probably the most upscale Mall in Atlanta would be the Lenox Mall at Buckhead here you will find many expensive and specialized stores such as GAP, Giani Versache, Gucci, Tommy Hillfiger and so on. Just accross the street from Lenox Mall there is Phipps Plaza Mall which is less expensive than its neighboring competitor. Both Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza are in walking distance from both the Lenox Station and Buckhead station. The Lenox station being the nearest to both Malls. When riding the Marta Rail in Atlanta you would want to take the North East line to Doraville and stop at Lenox Station which has the number NE-7. If you will like to stop at Buckhead Station you would have to take the North line to North Springs the station number of Buckhead Station is N-7. Another great Mall in Atlanta is the Perimeter Mall located just accross Dunwoody Station. Dunwoody Station is N-9 on the Northbound line to North Springs. By car you would have to drive on the 285 Atlanta bypass and take exit 30 Ashford Dunwoody road. Another great shopping experience would be underground Atlanta, you would want to take the Marta rail and stop at five points station and avoid Atlanta's bussy traffic. Be smart think Marta!

Favorite Thing: Visit Midtown Atlanta. Midtown Atlanta is currently undergoing big changes old buildings are being remodeled while some buildings and ex factory warehouses are being thorn down to make more mainly mid to upscale residential zones as well as adding more office towers. Midtown is slowly but surely becoming a night time entertainment mecca in Atlanta and perhaps this is the closest challenge for Buckhead Atlanta in terms of entertainment and attracting people with high income. Midtown is also home of the largest gay community in the South East. It is home to the Margaret Mitchell House author of 'Gone with the wind'. Midtown is also home to the Piedmont Park where big concerts and other events take place especially during the summer. Piedmont Park is also great for jogging, biking or to have a day out with your family for a picnic or barbecue. Piedmont park is home to Atlanta's botanical gardens. In addition you can not miss the famous old Fox Theatre in Midtown Atlanta. Midtown Atlanta is easily accessible by MARTA Rail which stops at Midtown Station N-4 on the North bound line heading to Doraville or North Springs. Other Midtown Stations include Arts Center Station N-5, North Avenue Station N-3 and Civic Center Station N-2.
