This was my first time i saw an ocean with my naked eyes...
thank you Lord for making my dream come true!!!!
I Studied Geography in High school but I left it along the way and chose the finance part but I do regret it sometimes cause I loved it but I am currently Studying a degree in Environmental Management. I think all these have inspired me to know more of this world and travelling is way of accomplishing that dream of knowing and learning about the world we live in.
Oh and It was my first time on a plane when we went to Durban. It was a 45 minutes flight but I really loved the feeling you know. I wanted to taste the feeling and it was good and It prepared me for the longhaul flights. I think I like flying ,I like being in the air and travelling long distances but I prefer comfort as well. I am uncomfortable with Landings and Takeoffs but I am sure i will get used to It.
I liked the Durban weather, It was never hot and It was never cold.It was just warm throught out our time there.I just felt at peace during my time there.
Those of you who where here in South Africa for the 2010 Fifa world cup you should know this magnificent stadium!
I saw people making a big swing from the top through the stadium. It looked amazing but scary.I didn't have that chance to try it but I will try it when I go back next time.
Durban has got beautiful and warm beaches to relax or swim and i enjoyed being here than any other place in Durban.
People can be creative out here and make money out of it, we did pay for this picture but it wasn't compulsory.
- Pros:It was a great experience personally, just warm to swim and alot to see
- Cons:watch out for pick pocketers
- In a nutshell:Warmest place in South Africa

Good to read one of your dreams came true, I hope many more do! I used to work with a lady from Durban.
I hope you are able to do more travelling and experience different cultures and countries. It all takes time and money - worse luck~!
that's true, thanks!
First time you saw the beach?! Wow!! Great start to many years of wonderful travel mate! :o) Hugs, Ann.
