Staying at the Green Track Hostel. This hostel is on Calle Ricardo Palma 510, between Belem market and Plaza de Armas. The owner is a fanastic host and helped us out with directions, things to do, and places to see in Iquitos and the surrounding area. In this photo we are eating a delicious meal we all prepared together in the hostel's kitchen. Yummy ! Tomorrow we will go to a jungle lodge up river from Iquitos called the Tapiche Ohara's Reserve. We are excited because it just opened and we will be the first "official" guests. To get there is a long day's journey first to Nauta, then Requena, then five hours in a private motor boat. It is the most remote private lodge in the Iquitos area, but we hope will be worth the trip.
