Our cruise ship docked in Naples and then we took an excursion to Pompeii. These ruins are within a half hour by tour bus and well worth the trip. Unfortunately, most of the artifacts from the excavation have been moved to the Museum in Naples. However, you still get an appreciation for the site by browsing through the ruins. |
