Annaolis Royal; A Great Place To Stay and Visit

Annapolis Royal is a delight. Located on the west end of Nova Scotia, Annapolis Royal is the oldest continuously inhabited town in North America north of St. Augustine, Florida. Its routes date back to 1605. Up until the middle 18th century it was the military and administrative center of western Nova Scotia. Within the small town there are several historic buildings and sites. These include the Fort Anne Historic Site and the Port Royal National Historic site. The latter is particularly interesting because it features a recreation of life as it existed back in 1605 when the area was primarily a fur trading post.

What makes Annapolis Royal particularly charming is its small size and very walkable streets. You can easily see the whole town on foot.

Cons:Even fall days that can be cold and very windy
