Steam Trains

There is train access into whitby the basic routes from the north running from middlesbrough, on the esk valley route.

The esk valley could also provide a fabulous trip on a steam train, with journeys starting from or leaving from whitby. The north york moors railway, runs trains throughout the summer, which stop at Grosmont and Pickering, other fabulous towns in the north york moors (covered on the north york moors page). The trains take in some fantastic views along the way and are an experience you wont forget.
