Well, if you are looking for something mainstream you might wanna' check someone else's page out. Shopping at the upscale Northwest 23'rd ave. and eating at spots requiring a jacket and tie aren't listed. Not much about the uberhipster Hawthorne are either. I will try to try to list some of the places and things that are special about PDX. Lots of rain, (only 135 average sunny days a year), make winters here pretty dismal, which I view as a good thing. The winters force us to subsidize some of the greatest places to buy books, view films, and drink good beer in the country. And the summers are incredible. For you music junkies, I put most of that info in the travelogues, so as not to bore those who would get tired of my music stuff.
