From port downtown is lil far.we were charged 30$ for two way trip may b for same distance distance in india i might have paid just 10$ anyways at the end trip was worth paying.
Without learning some spanish everything seems blank and dark.First we reached city our taxi driver was dumb its our mistake v are in his country and v dont speak their language.Finally he dropped us at some stupid shopping mall and v didnt had any intention of shopping.We asked him for some museum or some art gallery or some historic place he was just staring at us as if we were scolding him or going to fight with him.Finally without any help from him we started roaming around the city.Then went to one wine shop that fellow from shop he was sitting with his wife or girlfriend.Watching 3 guys coming for buying sth he just jumped from his sit and started showing wine bottles but u know v are in no mood to buy anything.I started asking him about museum same look of taxi guy then luckily we saw that gal from shop was surfing internet and we asked her
ME ENGLISH U ESPANIO ON COMPUTER ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank god she got what we said to her.Then we asked her to search for museum or some old site and then comes MONUMENTO.
After this they showed way to city square near river side and its all good memories after that.Here i m going to continue with my evening.

Great that you finally found the city center and all the sights!

Quite an experience you had Mehul in a Spanish speaking country. You are also fortunate to have traveled so many country with the kind of job you have. I am sure VT does not have a Sailor member! Even if they have , must be retired. Carry on dear!
