Big city

Budapest is a big city, although easy to explore on foot, I bought the 3 days pass for transportation and was glad I did because I had more time to spend at the places I chose to visit and it helped me to save time among my destinations.
Mathias Church, Fisherman Bastion and Castle are found all together on Buda Hills, from where the most beatuful view of the Danube and Pest ( with the Parlament ) can be seen.

Metro covers practically all tourist places. If staying over 3 days a Budapest pass for transportation is advised

The Market Place is a must. The first floor has all sort of Hungarian craft.

Szechenyi Bath - Budapest

Szechenyi Bath

When being in Budapest, at least going to one thermal bath is a must . It is not as cheap as it used to be, but very relaxing; a great deal after a long walking day. From saunas and steam baths to inner and outer pools you can have it all. Szechenyi Bath is the biggest one in the city, located behind the Heroes' Square and across the Hungarian Museum of Agriculture.It can be reached at the end of Yellow Metro Line ( Hosok Tere station).

The Hills can be reached by funicular or by foot, right close of the Chain Bridge.

    Nice little page of Budapest! I too enjoyed the views from Fishermen's Bastillon, but when I visited it was vinter.
