Nightlife Spot: Testaccio area
A great place, plenty of locals "for Romans", usually quite cheap and/or alternative. There are also some very good but small theatres and cinemas and during summer it is a must for live concerts. One of my favorite locals is the Radio Londra Café in Via Monte Testaccio, 65b... with live music and a good choice of drinks and food.

Nightlife Spot: Al Vino Al Vino !!
A very nice way to pass some hours with friends... is going to this wine-bar (enoteca)... Very friendly atmosphere... and a huge choice of wines, liquors and typical italian spirits... You can also have things to eat... like mixed salami and cheese... or handmade "parmigiana di melanzane" !!!

Nightlife Spot: Birreria Peroni
This is a great spot to taste some good italian beer (like the Peroni Gran Riserva) together with a great food too. Beware of the waiters !! They like to joke a lot ...hehe... A really funny place ! If you feel brave enough.... ask for the "special dish" of the house..... you won't forget it !! It is always full of people... so better avoid to go there on saturday.

The festival ROMA INCONTRA IL MONDO takes place on the sides of the lake inside Villa Ada. The program of the festival includes a concert every night... with very good ethnic music. It opens at 8pm, and shows start at 10pm. It is also possible to have dinner there. After show, disco bar till late night. From June 23 until August 9 ... :)
