After so many years , I great you all... Happy days to you all...
I will just share with you my Royal Visit to sites that houses the Kingdom of Buganda . Buganda Kingdom is located in Central Uganda -East Africa.
Also I will share with you my other Destination of Mombasa Fort Jesus.
I did Visit Fort Jesus and I found it visibly amazing for you to see a fort that survived for ages.
In 1498 the Portuguese explorer Vasco De Gama arrived in Mombasa on his route to India. Fort Jesus was built after the Portuguese had been masters of the East African coast for nearly an hundred year
We went to the beaches of Mombasa, had Ferry ride to the south Island. And the magnificent look of the island of MOMBASA surrounded by deep sea.
You could notice so many features and able to identify coral reef rocks all around.
Long sand Beaches that have hosts of hotels. Surprisingly, the waters disapppears after some time and later it comes back to the beach. Watch out if you don't find your self in the sea after a while.
Ekisaakaate
A recently introduced cultural training programme for children, code-named ‘Ekisaakate’ (Royal Enclosure), iIn this the Children are kept in enclosure being trained about skills, and other good behaviours and buganda norms
The last ones have been success and they lotate in Schools. The Queen Nabagerka also visits charities and champions HIV aids programs
Built by the Portuguese in 1593
Captured by Oman Arabs in 1698
Became a government prison in 1895
Declared National Monument in 1958
