"Krems Highlights 1" Krems by StayLonger

The morning started with cruising through the Wachau Valley. Just after lunch, we docked in Krems for a short visit.

Chapel

Before going into Krems proper, we boarded a coach for a short ride up the hill across the river to Goettwig Abbey.

Steeple

The hill provided excellent views of Krems and the surrounding area, but it was windy and freezing cold. We walked through a short tour of the abbey and also sat through an organ recital that was beautiful.
