In 1999, I stayed in the Monte Carlo with one of my best friends and her sister and we had a nice time in the hotel! The hotel is classy and elegant to say the least. Very European! $70-120. Sometimes they have good deals so it's best to check with them. Try to go to Vegas Mondays through Thursdays. Rates skyrocket during the weekends!

In 2000, we stayed in the Flamingo Hilton hotel. We booked the hotel on-line -- rate was $39 US a night! Not bad at all! Prices range from $50 to $120. But we lucked out and booked the hotel online (through the hotel's website) at $39 a night!
