I think my most favorite place in Indonesia is Lombok. It has beautiful beaches, but not that touristy like Bali.
Lombok is also well-known for one of the best diving spots. I got my license here in Gili Trawangan back in 1992.
For me, Gili Nanggu in Lombok is my most favorite island. It has a very beautiful white sandy beach and clear water. The best thing about this place is...very quiet! A real tranquil place!

Senggigi beach is a quite place, while u are sitting around u can see the blue ocean and fishermen with their boats. more travel advice
