Karimun Jawa National Park

Menyawakan Island is one of 27 islands in Karimun Jawa Marine Park archipelago. Located in north of Jepara (around 2 hrs driving from Semarang, the capital city of Central Java Province).
There's only 1 resort on the island which called "Kura-Kura Resort", (ironically) owned by Swedish.
Diving in Karimun is well-known for its wrecks, tho it has more from fringing reefs, atolls, variety fishes - incl. whale sharks!
