Caddo Lake in the fall
I'm Canadian born and New York raised and have lived in Texas for 42 years without visiting Caddo Lake. My loss!
Both the wild life and the scenery are spectactular as one glides through the narrow passageways that make up the section of the lake we spent an afternoon on the fall.
We'll go back to sample the other seasons and see how they affect the colors but I can't imagine it being as spectacular as it is in October.
In the photo attached I can only imagine the "pre-flight" routine that was going on in the bird's mind.
