Crni Kal is a nice small town in Slovenia, about half an hour from the sea.

It's a good and quiet climbing area, suitable for beginners and pros.

When we were there, we stayed in a town called Izola at the Slovenian coast and drove to Crni Kal.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:good climbing, fine climate, close to Austria
  • Cons:not for everybody, not mch to do
  • In a nutshell:a typical small Slovenian town
