In 2001, I was in Thailand for the first time - but not for the last! In 2002, I was back already ... Thailand impressed me with beautiful landscapes - above and under water, nice people, relaxed atmosphere and good food!
Both climbing and diving was fabulous - a perfect combination.

We visited Phuket, the area around Krabi, Similan Islands and Ko Lanta.

Krabi - Phra Nang Beach

Whereas climbing is mainly done in and around Krabi (Railey and surrounding beaches), diving can be done in various spots.
I have visited the Similan Islands and the area around Ko Lanta (Ko Ha, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang...) - both were great!

Pros and Cons

Pros:nature, culture
Cons:too much tourism in certain areas
In a nutshell:The perfect holiday
