<B><font size=3> Visited only southern California south of L.A. due to Camp Pendelton the Marine base at Oceanside. I was there the first time in 1990 waiting to fly to Japan. Partyed a wild night in Tijuana :) You can easily take the local train in downtown Oceanside, then connect with a tram that takes you to the border, then just walk on through. While waiting to get out of the military I tried learning how to surf and just screwed around in Oceanside for two weeks till they offically gave me my walking papers, definetly the happiest day of my life. I plan on living in California real soon, I miss the mountains, skiing, as well as the surf. I always say that Florida would be even better if their was a line of snow covered volcanic mountains down the middle of the state, so we could ski in the winter and chill on the beach in the summer.</B> |
