The Paradise of the North: Batanes Islands (Apr 23 - Apr 28, 2002); the Batanes Islands are the northernmost islands of the Philippines, which lie on the south of Taiwan and southwest of Hong Kong. Its capital town is Basco, the smallest area and population in the Philippines. With the ten islands scattered around the main island of Luzon, only three islands are inhibited, namely Batan, Sabtang and Itbayat.
"A Something Special Trip" (Nov 7 - Nov 26, 2001) is a tribute to my mom and dad, especially to my mom who’s always been on my side when time gets tough, to two friends who have contrasting personality but with common goals and to new friends whom I’ve befriended.
The Highlanders of Mt. Province(Feb 28 - Mar 3, 2001); for centuries, people who have had a separate culture from the lowlanders inhabit mountain areas in central Luzon. They are collectively called Igorots, but prefer their individual tribal names such as Ibaloi, Kankana-ey, Ifugao, Bontoc, Kalinga, and Gaddang.
The Island of Palawan (Jan 12 - Jan 17, 2000) is southwest of Luzon and only 55 minutes by plane ride from Manila. It's capital, Puerto Princesa, is a haven for ecotourism; a home to many of the world's most colorful and most beautiful fauna and flora.
The Hundred Islands of Alaminos, Pangasinan (February 1999); as part of the Ilocos Region, the Hundred Islands consists of small-white-sand beaches on coral islets located in the town of Alaminos, Pangasinan and is considered as Pangasinan's best attraction.
Cebu City (October 1995) is the oldest city in the Philippines located in the Central Visayan region and is rich in history for it was the site of many Spanish expeditions during the 16th century. It is also one of the country's favorite tourist destinations for its world-class beaches and resorts.
Tagaytay City (May 1995)lies on the boundary of Cavite and Batangas and is located just 56 kilometers south of Metro Manila. It is recommended destination for nature lovers for its awesome nature views and cleaned air. It is also the best alternative to Baguio because of its cool climate.
Mindoro, Puerto Galera (May 1995) is located on the northern shores of Mindoro Island, where it offers exceptionally beautiful white-sand beaches. It is not only famous for its excellent dive spots, but also known to have one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. For many centuries, it has served as a haven for ships during typhoon season.
Subic, Zambales (January 1991) is located on the west coast of the Central Luzon region, which was once the site of US Naval base the largest US base in the world. In spite of the Americans departure, bars, discos and folk joints are still alive and apparent, which they can be traced around the fringes. |
