Just like many big cities in the U.S., whether you are here on business or vacation, you will find District is a fascinating city that has all kinds of entertainment (i.e. art, theatre and music) and full of history and culture. Most importantly, it is a hometown to many intriguing individuals. It is a fast growing city that people flock into because of all it has to offer.
Enjoy the many performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts including National Symphony Orchestra classical, Pops concerts, modern jazz, ballet, painting and drawing exhibits, and the list goes on and on. Now you don’t have to travel to New York City to see a Broadway play or musical, because the Center has been staging Tony award-winning plays and musicals such as “Copenhagen”, “Dirty Blonde” and “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella”. And if you are parents always looking for new things to take your kids to, the Center has also offers programming and other youth related activities. It is all in one roof.
I highly doubtful tourists will miss the White House. If New York City as to Broadway theatres, District as to White House. If you think White House can’t stage drama, well you’re wrong it is even more real than real TV. Of course, you don’t want to miss the monuments and museums.
Finally, if you have time to discover the neighborhoods, meet the people who live here, and get to know the city, please do so because it provides an exciting array of people.
