Fondest Memory: A fond memory..I was in the PODEL(Jewish Quarter) of KIEV...and a young boy...maybe 7 years old scampered up to me with a gym bag..full of 'something or other'..he motioned me to look inside and I could immediately see there were ALOt of war medals...I asked him,,,'how much?'..he didnt speak English but he held up 3 fingers and said 'sree',,,DONE DEAL!..;.he gave me the bag and bolted...LATER I opened the gym bag in my hotel room and there was over 100 medals...big/small/red/gold/silver...of every possible shape and kind...I sold 3 in Budapest...and gave Peter one he said was so rare he had never seen one like it...I still have most of them..90+ medals.
