AMSTERDAM....I have been there four times and each time I KNOW I am going to like it more than the last.Thats what it looks like looking out the KLM flight on the descent to Schipole Airport. The geometric shapes made by the canals just seem to suck you into its vortex.Its crowded..its busy..its confusing..its Amsterdam!GO HAVE FUN.
Now with the easy access to drugs and the Red Light District..there is considerably more fun than I choose to have these days.But thats part of the charm....its like stepping back into the permissive 60's..everybody is doing their "thing"....lately for me that includes bike riding...seeing as many museums as I can and plugging into the considerable energy this city generates... |
