Festivals and Fun Fairs: Fireworks

There is a huge fireworks festival in the Herrenhausen Gardens every year. six countries are taking part in a kind of competition. The fireworks are held with music in the baroc gardens and I think its quite nice to hear the music and see the sometimes unusuals fire shows.

Another free firework is going on whenever fun fairs are in the city and we have three in the year, in spring, in summer and in autumn. If you want to watch this you better ask "Hotel Bigsi" if she let you have a look. From my balcony you have the best view.....I think! The fireworks are going on each friday night at 10pm during fun fairs.

I have spend many nice evenings here. Cocktails, tapas, beers etc. what more do you need. There are some special events every now and than like Brasilian carnival or Salsa nights.
And some specials on the menu as well...

Jack the Ripper´s London Tavern: "...das Prinzip der englischen Gaststätte"

Maybe the nicest pub in town. I really like its style. It is build into an old cellar with arcades. And the bar is held in the same gothis style.

There are eight beers on tap (Newcie!) here and the kitchen offers some delicious snacks as well. You can also have chicken curry and fish and chips served with very green very british peas.........
