The most visitors are coming here in the springtime for the Cebit Computer Fair! Otherwise it´s a quiet city with good living conditions. We have a lot of greens, parks and forests in and around the city.
In the last years some things have been improved, mainly because we hosted the Expo 2000, which was a big success for the city! If you have been here during that time you might like to have a look at my EXPO Travelogues!

My Laatzen page is also dedicated to Expo 2000......it´s the place where it took place!

Well, It´s still just a zoo, but I think it´s one of the best in Europe!!! Nearly all animals are kept in a natural habitat that fits their needs........

You can go on a "Zambezi" boat safari or hang around in the Asia temple of tigers and elephants.....

I especially like the new hippo country, where they have build underwater windows, so that you can watch them swimming!!!! I could sit in front of it the whole day :)
