A monk at a ceremony - Laatzen

A monk at a ceremony

Bhutan

Bhutan was one of the most impressive houses on the Expo ground. There was a small temple and some monks were helding ceremonies here. It was so colorful!!!

In the other part of the building there were some informations about the countriy and a huge stamps exhibition... We even found a Lothar Matthäus stamp from Bhutan! Strange!!!

A carrousel - wonderful - Laatzen

A carrousel - wonderful

Belgium

We alll loved the huge beer garden terrace on the Belgian pavillon. They were selling those yummy Belgian beers there. Inside the pavillon there was this old fashioned carrousel, which was fun after some beers ;) You also got Belgian chocolate and a small beer for free.

Austria was inside a hall and it had a good restaurant inside. There was a huge relaxing area, which was very welcome after walking around for a day.....I have seen some people sleeping there ;)

Sabsi after a walk from India to Australia

The Australian pavillon looked like Ayers Rock from the outside. Inside there were some interactive things to do and sure Sydney was advertising for the Olympics! They also a had a small aquarium, little great barrier reef!

Bea and I in the Sahel - Laatzen

Bea and I in the Sahel

Africa

There was one huge hall where all African countries were participating... When you opened the door the typical African flair was in the air and there were always drumbeats everywhere. I really liked this place a lot, There was a huge market area where you could buy African craft etc. It was wonderful....

The restaurant in here was made out of old coca cola cans. Everything the seats the tables and the walls. It was fun but a bit expensive, so I never tried it...
