Welcome to the French part of Switzerland! Biel or in French Bienne is home of one of the Arteplages of the Swiss Expo 02. There are four arteplages in this region: Neuchatel, Yverdon, Murten and Biel.
As I didnīt had so much time I only visited one of these: Biel. Itīs the biggest of all grounds and you will need one day to see all. Queues have been there, but no was longer than 45 Minutes, what is still ok I think. As I remember our Expo in Hannover 2 hours were usual!
I have seen nearly all pavillions and made special travelogues for each!
My favourites were:
"Swish" and "Territoire Imaginaire"!

I havenīt been in Biel downtown itself, so if you are looking for infos about the town, this is the wrong place for you! Sorry!
