Well it might not be the secret capitol of Malta, but it sure is more like a capitol than Valetta is. It's one of the most popular places to live on Malta and indeed it's quite vibrant. You have "The Strand" which is the seaside promenade where you can walk for kilometers if you like..... Behind this front street line there are beautiful old streets, with those typical balconies everywhere. It's much quieter there...and still only a few feet away from the promenade. |
|  | Take a cruise One reason why I build a Sliema page is that all the harbour cruises are starting here. I didn't knew this, as our travel books (rubbish!) didn't mentioned this quite important fact. So the firts time I looked for a boat trip was in Valetta and well there were none.... |
