Marsaxlokk is a tiny fishermen's nest in the south of Malta. It must be nice when the fish market is held here every morning. I only have been there around midday, as it's quite a bus tour from the north of Malta. So the fishes were all sold for that day, what was left were the many tourist stands selling needleworks. Not my kind of market.....
What was quite nice of coming around midday was, that the tourist buses had left again and we nearly had the promenade for ourselves. |

Luzzus are watching you! An absolute must is to sit down in one of the fish restaurants around the harbour. Enjoy the views while you taste the delicious fresh fish!
