I stayed in the Travellers hostel in Dlouha street right behind the Staromestske Namesti and really had a pleasant stay there. The staff has been really nice and helpful with all our needs and wishes.
The rooms are simple but clean and the beds are quite new and the matresses are comfortable. The hostel is devided in two parts, one part is over the Roxy music club and the other half is one the 5th floor in the back house.
We had a room in the back, right next to the breakfast room. Breakfast was in a buffet style and you could prepare your own food there too.
There were rolls, cheese, jam, salami, milk, cornflakes, yogurt, orange and apple juice and sure coffee and tea. There was a fridge in the kitchen too, where some people stored their things.
Next to the kitchen there was a long balcony where you could even get a glimpse of the Hradschin.
Slept very well here!
Unique Qualities: 24 hour reception, clean rooms, toilets and bathrooms, a great shower with hot water every time (not common in many hostels), breakfast and linen is included, safe at the reception, washing machines and storage room and really friendly people working there!
The only thing that was a bit suspect was the lift, well it worked all the time but didn't looked very inviting and made strange noises on the way up! :)
