Sabs and I went to Blackpool on our way back from the Lakes to Liverpool on New Year's Day 2005. Gale Force wind blown in from the Irish Sea and so it was the perfect day for a walk along the beach in Blackpool. |
| Oh how I would love to take a ride |
|  | A Rollercoaster Ride As I love rollercoasters I would have loved to take a ride on this maybe most scenic one in the world. Well, sure it's all closed in winter except for the casinos and game halls and candy floss shops.... We were really surprised that it was quite crowded with tourists.

Fancy street lights I really loved the street lights. Wished that they turned them on at 1pm, but they didn't unfortunately, even as it was a real dark and grey winters day. | | | Street lights of Blackpool |
