I like this city a lot....... Time seems to stand still since the middle age somehow.........if you have a look at all the old houses you can easily imagine how life was then......
I also like Siena, cause I think they have the most beautiful cathedral in the world..... The fassade and the inside is fascinating with all the black and white marble. It somehow looks like a zebra from far away ;) Itīs quite unique, maybe thatīs why I like it so much.....

|  | Il Campo - Home of the famous Palio The several suburbs in Siena, so called "Contraden " are helding the famous Palio horse race every year........ Itīs a honour to win it for your part of town and there is a big rivality under the contrades......The race itself is quite dangerous for horse and men, cause the corners on the Piazza Il Campo are quite narrow........ The winning horse is allowed to join the crowd at the street celebrations afterwards..... |
