During a trip to Scotland with university approximately a hundred years ago I was lucky to get the opportunity to stay in Kirkwall/ Orkney for a few days.

Ring of Brodgar

What a great place. Orkney is wild, beautiful, green and interesting with many wild animals, old charm street scenes, lots of history and wonderful beaches.

A beautiful cruise

I was here with a tour organised by university that's why I saw many ancient sights on the islands. We were chased from standing stone to standing stone so I probably got mixed up with my pictures on this page. If you find mistakes please let me know. I'll try to remember as much as I can ....

Pros and Cons

Pros:Wild and wonderful!
Cons:It's too far away from here!
In a nutshell:Would like to visit again, I loved this place!
