Here are some of my pictures from Co. Cork, where I was for a little while in winter 1999/2000. We were staying in Cork city - but just for one night. So we just saw bits of Cork and it's port neighbour, Cobh.

Wind in Cobh

The day we spent in Cobh was really stormy. It was fun... the only not so funny fact was that we had to take a ferry that night...

Bigs in Cork City

Just spent one eveni, one night and one morning in Cork city so I don't know a lot about that place... Sorry!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Cobh is one of the most colourful places I saw. Great shopping in Cork.
Cons:Hmmmmmmmmmm dunno!
In a nutshell:Have to return here to see more!

Mmmm, much prefer Murphy's to Guinness (tho I also like Guinness... ;-) ). Great little page - been meaning to come here for a while now...

I enjoyed your narration and photographs. You have a conversational style, which I like. The B & B looked lovely. The pronunciation of Cobb is weird.

This B&B is a few doors down from the Cork International Hostel (red brick 3 story house)on Redclyffe Road. The hostel is nice as well, but the B&B looks so peaceful from the outside!
