The Mosel

Kluesserath is a tiny village on the banks of the river Mosel. There's not much here but it's heaven for wine lovers. There's vineyards and wineries where you can try the wine everywhere!

I had to go here several times for work reason (I am responsible for a website of one of the wineries here so I came for quite a few parties and photo shootings!). I love going there, hanging around the vineyard (which is very steep by the way) or just drinking some very tasty Mosel Riesling....

So join me for a short tour through this small but wonderful place located off the beaten path at Germany's most beautiful river valley (in my opinion, anyway!).

Pros and Cons

Pros:The Wine!!!!!!!!! Beautiful scenery!
Cons:Not much else going on. This might not be your place if you're a beer lover!
In a nutshell:Wine heaven for me!

Sounds quite remote compared to other places. Those wine cellars are great in hot weather.. I sure wouldn't want to pic the grapes.. just drink them:-) Nice trip to do though.
