A huge VT meeting took place in Maastricht on 16 August 2003. On a lovely summer day more than 20 VT members met here for a stroll around town, many drinks, meals, photos and postcards!

After two busy weeks at work we needed a break to see something else than the office. Living in Düsseldorf we thought a trip to see something else should at least include one border and a place where we'd never been before. We decided to go to Maastricht as I'd heard that it's a nice place which is a bit different from other Dutch towns. The weather forecast said sunshine so we go into the car...
Of course the blue skies disappeared as soon as we left Düsseldorf. It got cold, grey and eventually started to snow even. We had a great time in Maastricht though. Basically we were just walking around the shopping area and all we did was to eat and to feel cold ;)
- Pros:Great shopping and a beautiful small town
- Cons:The cold weather ;)
- In a nutshell:Spent a nice afternoon here!

Very nice page of Maastricht. Unfortunately we couldn't make it there during our trip to Netherlands. And the travelogues are great.
