It's already been a year since we were in Dubrovnik so I guess it's about time I build a page, eh? Let's see how much I can still remember of the two hot and humid days we spend here... |
| The most spectacular drink in Dubrovnik |
|  | We came to Dubrovnik for two nights on our big balkans trip in May 2008. It was the southernmost stop of our trip and the last stop in Croatia before going to Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as to Slovenia.
We spend one and a half days in the old town of Dubrovnik, stayed in a very nice guesthouse, enjoyed two lovely evenings and had some fantastic food. Our main tasks, however, were not to be ripped off and to stay in the shade. |

| | Unfortunately the humidity was very high when we visited so the typical walk around the old town walls was out of question. It also meant we spent a lot of time and money for drinks and for hanging around outside the cafes of the old town. So as Dubrovnik is the most expensive part of Croatia this also was our most expensive stop during our trip. We enjoyed it, anyway.

Fabulous page here. I definitely agree on your general opinion about Dubrovnik. Also last week the city was packed with cruise tourists and people kept telling us that it was already low season. Oh and I liked both Buffet Skola and Spaghetteria Toni. | yumyum Sun Sep 21, 2008 18:53 UTC
