HAVING FUN IN NOVI ZAGREB

There are many restaurants and cafés in Novi Zagreb. There's shopping in every neighbourhood, many playgrounds for kids and youth or cultural centres. So Novi Zagreb isn't the dormitory town you would expect it to be. People don't only sleep here.

We had a nice cake break in Utrina, the Kremšnita here was even tastier than in cafés in Zagreb. HAHAHA I can tell, I had one in all of them ;)

THE PEOPLE OF NOVI ZAGREB

People who live in Novi Zagreb are very proud of their neighbourhoods, e.g. Zapruðe had an official website before Zagreb had one.

As in socialist times people were given a flat and couldn't choose where they wanted to move mostly young families moved here in the 60s. Today the people who live here are 2nd generation Novi Zagreb people, their kids fill the schools again and people seem to be happy living here.

So this isn't the social black spot as you could expect.
