I recently spent a day in Chester with my local tourguides Sandy, Dave, Susan and Steve. On a freezing cold day (at least it felt freezing cold after all heat wave before!) we walked around the town on the old city walls first and later went into town for some shopping and sightseeing. |
| | The old half timbered houses of Chester are amazing. If there weren't any people around you'd feel like you'd been dropped into an old black and white movie. All you see is black and white. |
| | With all the typical shops that are the same all over England and some small "different" shops in the famous "Rows" Chester was a great spot for shopping. |

| Pros: | "Great shopping, beautiful houses" | | Cons: | "Chester is quite small and it looks the same everywhere you go in the centre" | | In A Nutshell: | "A nice spot for a walk and some shopping" |
