Hi!
I have been watching skijumping on television since I was a little kid. That's why I had to go to Lahti in summer 2000 to finally to see my first real ski jump. On the picture I just landed at 150 metres with a perfect Telemark ;-) |

| | Without snow or jumpers though .... but with a beautifully located swimming pool and a really funny ski museum! We had planned to go swimming here but unfortunately the day we went here it was really cold so we were freezing. |
Talking of freezing: I went back here in winter recently for the Salpausselän Kisät - the Lahti Ski Games. For the first time the weather was beautiful. Lots of snow, blue skies, many funny stories and great sports made this weekend trip an unforgettable experience. My first real winter wonderland days! | | |
