Trier is Germany's oldest city. It was formed by the Romans already in 17 BC! The Porta Nigra - a Roman city gate - is the main sight of the city. |
| Steffi and the long awaited McD |
| | Steffi (icebear7) and I went to Trier after we had to "work" on the vineyard in Klüsserath. We were hungry and thought we could quickly find a McDonalds along the street. We got lost, ended up in a traffic chaos and there was no McDonalds anywhere so suddenly we arrived at Porta Nigra. We decided to park our car to have a look..... and to grab something to eat in the main shopping street, too! |
Downtown Trier you find many beautiful buildings. We did a short walk through the main shopping street and found quite a few of them... | | |
