This is the building through which you entered the Autostadt. Take the left entrance to get into a few floors full of things to try, 3D cinemas, a nice cafe, the children area and stuff like that. Some of the things are really interesting! Especially the fog tunnel and the shock absorber. Make sure to stand in it and sing Belinda Carlisle's old classic 'Heaven is a place on earth'

Audi Pavilion

The best of all the car brand pavilions for me. Creative media installations, cool ideas (like the wooden Audi TT on the picture), very nice show!

Directions: The boring looking building. I never expected it to be that good!

VW Pavilion

Nothing special really, the film was ok, the rest was dead boring!

Lamborghini Pavilion

Well what do you expect from a pavilion that shows one car called Lamborghini - which is worth more probably than all the cars in the SEAT pavilion together ;-)?

Right -- you expect a loud engine, a bright colour and an Italian casanova! And that's exactly what you get in the Lamborghini pavilion. One car, worth approximately 350000 DMs is hanging at the wall - and you get to see thunder, rain and a lightshow along with the noise of a engine.

Bentley Pavilion

Actually I hated this pavilion!! If you are into Bentley and Rolls Royce have a look inside ... I found it soooooo boring <i><b>YAWN</b></i>

Zeithaus

This is a great museum about the history of cars. It starts from the very beginning with all the weird and wonderful cars from before 1900. Later you see the first Cadillacs (gorgeous!), lots of beetles (including the 1000000th beetle - in its golden disco outfit!!!), great cars from the 50s, ugly ones from the 70s etc etc.

For kids (and people like me that never grow up) there's one part full of funny experiments... here you can steer cars with solar energy or make experiments about aerodynamics. It's great to make kids understand how a car works - and better than a playground ;-)

Directions: When you walk through the main entrance and turn left it's the first building on the left. On the map it's on the left.

Directions: You get a brochure and map at the entrance so that you won't get lost! When we were in the Autostadt we only went to half of the pavilions, I always think it's a good idea to enjoy the atmosphere rath
