I've now visited Amsterdam twice, firstly in 2000 when I had just one night in a very cheap hostel .... I wasn't looking forward to it... but pleasantly surprised by the laidback feel of the place, and not as seedy as I'd imagined... and now I've just come back from a long weekend where I stayed in a luxury houseboat, which was brilliant... |
