Ironbridge - A small town, situated 30 miles NW of Birmingham, 5 miles from J4 off the M54. Considered by some as the 'Birthplace of Industry', it was developed during the Industrial Revolution in the 18th Century. Famous for the 'first-ever' cast iron bridge, spanning the River Severn, it also has many other attractions and museums illustrating the industrial history of the local area.
