Is it really a "United" Kingdom? It may depend on whether you ask someone in England or Scotland. London offers more things than you could experience in a number of visits, the countryside is postcard perfect, and Scotland is a world apart from England. |

Some wonderful photos here... on the issue of currency, there are fewer and fewer pound notes circulating in Scotland (they were withdrawn in England some years ago). In Scotland you will mainly receive Scottish notes from ATMs. |
