Minnesota's nickname is the "Land of 10,000 Lakes", but it actually has around 15,000. The four seasons offer a great variety of weather, from 90 degrees in Summer to 20 below zero in Winter and everything in between. From the vibrant Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, to the port city of Duluth, Minnesota has a lot of interesting attractions. There are professional sports, museums, concerts, a Winter Carnival, Dog sled races, Lutefisk suppers.......you could never do it all, but you have to start somewhere. The State's Motto: The Star of the North, quite fitting indeed. |
