I was really well impressed from dutch people because they are kind and friendly, but my greatest surprise was their life-style. If you go to Vondelpark in the evening, it's full of people that are skating, running, cycling. A lot of people are sitting on the grass and eating some good things (cheese, meat, bread, fruit and tasting good wine). After the dinner they sit in a circle and they speak and sing. It's really fantastic when it starts to be dark. They all light some candles and it seems to be on the top of the mountain and to see the cities around with all small lights.

In Vondelpark there is a particular tradition: every friday a lot of people go there and they start to skate all together. It's strange because they skate in group and you can find different person: hippies, freaks, rastas, darks, teddys, culturists skating all together in the same direction. I had a sensation of unity when I saw it.

Amsterdam's Hard Rock Cafè is in a really nice position on the canal. The typical Amsterdam's Hard Rock Cafè has a Van Gogh painting on the back side.
