Sveta Nedjelja - Hvar

Sveta Nedjelja is a sleepy little village on the southern slope of the Sveti Nikola (the highest peak of Hvar). It would have been a dead village if it wasn't for the recent popularity of its wine and the steady tourism. As this side of the island is most of the days exposed to the sunshine the grapes are very sweet and the wine, especially the red is excellent.

Veli Kamik

In the late afternoon I enjoy going to Veli Kamik, a tiny little island conected by a bridge to the mainland. It is a superb place to watch sunset and to get the last ray of sunshine. Some people enjoy jumping from the bridge into the deep sea.

Supja Stina

Just above the sea there is another little attraction; Supja Stina. It's a huge rock which looks like being reclined to the mountain. There is a nice little secluded beach just in front of it.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:It's very calm, relaxing and clean. People are welcoming and helpful. You can buy and eat the freshest fish.
  • Cons:It is a little remote, not many places to go out.
  • In a nutshell:If you need to relax and forget the everyday stress, this is the place to stay.
