Iloilo... ang banwa ko.

I spent 4 years of studying pharmacy in iloilo city. the warmth and simplicity of the people there exudes above anything else. I met good friends there and the memories will forever be with me. Iloilo occupies a big space in my heart.

Iloilo is known to be the City of Love. People from Iloilo are known to be Ilonggo and speaks the Ilonggo dialect. They are considered as sweet and caring people. And i definitely agree with it.

Iloilo is one of the oldest cities in the Visayas. It is home to a number of Universities and students from neighboring provinces would prefer to study in the schools there since they are very well established and has good standards.

The center of Iloilo is called Jaro. It is where the cathedral can be found fronting the plaza.

The Jaro Cathedral is considered as one of the Oldest Churches in the Philippines. Established during Spanish times, it still stands tall up to now and is considered as one of the Landmarks of Iloilo.
